Beware the parlor boot. I have a sweet pair of danners that fall into the luxury end $230 range workboot but strictly for work that won't outright shred them. Many will recommend Xtratuff; about $100, universally recognized, mid-tier boot that can come with steelies and be patched until thrown in the trash to replace next season. By the third season only then you'll be spending as much as the Thorogoods. My 2 cents.
