It is even worse when you've watched logging operation training video by your state department that details how to properly log forest so that it will grow back and allow land owners better access to their lands.
Yet, no one does that here. Instead, what is left looks like a cross between a meteor impact and World War 1 trenches. Places where you could once walk with easy you now have to climb over brush, 5 feet high piles of dirt, and cross through 2x5 feet trenches all over. Erosion is horrific and make all the trenches even deeper.
This googled pic looks very similar, steep hills, but the logging roads, piles, and trenches are far worse than this.
