my only bag is a get home bag. and my trip to go hiking in the sawtooth this summer is the furthest i'll have been from home in years (GenX boomer who's already been around enough to satisfy my want for that shit)
my get home bag only has to be good enough to cover the 8 miles home from town when i go twice a week to just 'go into town'.
