I have my own secret spot nobody knows about where I can sit in peace up along broughton way. Its kind of a small wooded glade hidden in the middle of a number of fields.Its a great spot for a fire and a no hassle over-nighter. I found it using google earth actually and aside from the farmer who owns the land, I doubt many people even know the place exists. Its my own little sanctuary away from the world.
Other than that I mostly just camp in the central lakes in various places. I never considered camping in the old ammo dump, last time I was up there security (or somebody) were in doing laps of the perimeter in a van so I couldnt go in without risking being spotted. I might have to have another neb at it sometime soon once the rain has decided to fuck off. Are they going to deveop it now? I thought it had gained some sort of nature reserve status as theres rare birds nesting and various endangerd insects doing pretty well inside.
