So perennials come back annually, yes? So a plant that isn't a perennial, it just dies at winter permanently then? I'm expected to replant a nonperennial annually? How does a plant like that survive evolutionarily? Surely I'm misunderstanding something. I understand this is a retarded question but I'm trying to wrap my head around all this. If I wanted to plant once, harvest forever, what should I look for and what should I avoid?
