this past weekend i was at palmetto state park and was camped right by the river. i heard something that sounded like it fell from a tree. it sounded heavy and sound like it was making large leaps. almost like if it were in a sack race. it would advance maybe 5m at each leap. it was travelling parallel to the river. it got pretty close so i stood up and grabbed my revolver from my pack and after that i didn't hear anything again.
