>>1338492I get the same rain/sun thing here too. The odd years crack the ground and dry up the local river and streams during dog days. This year it was heavy rain and the river was 4 feet above its banks most of the time.
>already wilting and dyingYeah, that is a tough one. For that the best option is to take a tissue culture from the very tip bud and use willow water to keep it going. Though success is determined greatly by the basil cultivar you are growing. I think holy basil (Ocimum sanctum) doesn't do well like that. Dollyis another that has trouble like that.
>>1338496>what is this LBM?Check out online mushroom identification keys and start learning what taxonomic markers to test for when identifying them. Like I can't tell if those are just old or if they've been so well bruised that the bruise color has changed them entirely. I'd know that if I were the one who picked them though. Judging from a photo makes stuff like that more difficult to determine. You may also wish to check out the sister thread over on
>>>/an/2772818>>1338501Yeah, I think there was a new study released about it, for factory workers being exposed to it. I haven't read up on it though. I live by, "Does this ingredient or leached chemical improve or maintain my health?", which I include for the animals and plants I raise and grow respectively.
