The general rule of thumb indeed is to not transplant a flowering or fruiting plant. I do not know how this pertains to tomatoes in particular I'm afraid so they might be okay with it, but I myself wouldn't risk it. The container seems large enough to me to grow a decent sized plant with 4 or 5 racemes of tomatoes anyway.

Pic unrelated; I harvested spinach today, exactly one month after sowing it. If it doesn't get too warm too quick, then it'll regrow a second time before bolting.
