i just got back from my 4day pack trip and on a vstrom with luggage and a cheap dry bag i took..
tent
sleeping bag
wool blanket to use as backup and pad
aluminum shovel
misc tools and fluids for the bike just in case
clothing to suit hot, cool, wet etc
camp chair
1lb propane tank
torch head
paraffin wax satuated paper towels and lighters for back up fire starter
jet boil type propane burner for the propane
small aluminum pan to cook in
plastic cutlery
paracord
TP
couple rags
4 days worth of water and non perishable food, which ended up being a lot of weight and space
break down 22lr rifle in case i can find small game
water filter
plastic bags
water bladder for backup
i think thats most of it, it was a heavy pack since i was intending on being able to avoid any and all towns for the duration if i chose.
