>>255660Dunno if they're are great whites up on the reef. I'm gonna be looking out for the jellyfish mostly. But I did have an exact moment like what you said when I was in Exmouth in 2012.
>be diving>shoot fish>stick it in my catch bag (catch bag is hanging off a float, the float is connected to a 20m long line that connects to my gun>swimming back to the boat (it was a good sized snapper, didn't want to lose it)>suddenly feel an intense tugging on float line>awfuckno>turn around, swim frantically towards float>see 2.5m bronze whaler (kinda like a great white, less dangerous, less big, but still big and pretty dangerous) attacking catch bag>wtfman>swim next to it and poke it with speargun>thing goes nuts>dive partner turns around to signal for boat, leaves me with the shark>shark figures out it can't get fish. Starts towards me (I was wearing a all black wetsuit, probably thought I was a seal)>decide fuck this shit. stab it again with gun>it pisses off>mfw fish is mutilated and inedible
