So among a few other things I grow an absurd amount of aloe vera, just a plain unnecessary amount.
While looking and testing some soil options, I also tested a bunch of premixed shit for drainage and water retention since succulents need that fucking soil to drain.
With my first batch I used miracle grow cactus potting soil, while I hate miracle grow for vegetables and such because it makes them taste terrible, I'm not eating aloe vera and it makes the shit grow fantastically so whatever.
But this year I added it all up and I'm going to need a economically unfeasible amount of 8qt bags, so I started looking at alternatives and ended up trying pic related.
I have never had soil drain so fast, I swear to god it drained faster than a 1:1 pea pebble:soil mix i tried, it drained faster than my water hose could put water in the pot.
BUT, it says for in-ground use, what the fuck is the difference between "in ground" and potting soil?
If it drains well, it should work fine in pots right? Because this is by far the easiest option I've found.
