add a little bracket to the bottom of an external frame backpack so you can add on wheeley bin wheels and take them off when the terrain is steep so you can wear it again
add a bracket to the top you can slot hiking poles into so you can hold it or fix it to a belt,
would let you take weight off your back as long as you are on a trail/road but the extras are removable for when you need to go offroad
