I have atv's, utv's, and dirt bikes and love in rural Mississippi. If i had 4k gas to spend for the best bang for your buck I would find a nice used RZR 2 seater. You will find someone who will want to ride with you, family, girlfriend etc. In an ACE you can't even bring a friend along for the adventure. If you are thrill seeking get a dirt bike of sorts, at least then you can still ride double when needed although not very comfortably.
Out of everything I have I enjoy my Polaris Ranger the most. Can seat up to 4 smaller adults even though it's just a 2 seater, can haul my cooler, dogs and fishing stuff or haul sticks or wood I have a small lift and tires on it so it's fun to play in the mud/creek too.
