>>1851645If you don't mind the lack of a hip belt, I really like my osprey hikelite 26, especially the meshback. I find 26 liters is already very generous for dayhikes albeit I'm not gonna lie, the compression straps on the sides are not ideally placed if you want to use water bottles: they're too low and that makes it hard to put bottles back once you take them out unless they aren't too wide.
