Considering your need to tell us all about all the details of your gear I have a feeling you are more interested (possibly turned on) in the edgyness and oldness of your gear/appearance than convenience and effectivity of use. What is the advantage of cotton rope over paracord, candle over a led light or water skins over PET/aluminum food grade bottles?
