It resembles a crayfish very well afterall.
I wonder how it would hold up if you somehow bind it to a hook, or maybe first bind it to a soft plastic body (like shove a curly tail grub with the tail cut off into the tail, glue it in) then insert that onto the hook and fish it like any plastic. But now it has a really attractive tail to it.
Idk if the tails go bad or rotten.
