OP here I just hate the idea of everyone becoming this rugged wannabe by acting like they are doing tough shit with a truck. Off roading can be difficult if the trail is rutted and worn down and perhaps you'll get close to trees/rocks with your brand new 2018 TOYOTA TUNDRA or TACOMA. Yet with how advance electronics have become it takes away from the adrenaline from the journey.

Even jeeps act butt fucking annoying about being tough and outdoorsy. I could rant about vehicles but even ARB bumpers act generic by everyone looking the same it seems lifeless by everyone going crazy over braaaaaanndss. It feels more authentic getting in an old 90s ranger with a fren and some garage gear and blanks from the living room than blowing $300 at Cabelas
