I go on a trip or two a year. I fish the James, the New and a local lake in Virginia. Sometimes fish upper Potomac in MD. I lost a nice mid 40 inch fish last year at the Potomac. I once spent a week chasing them at the local lake, not even seeing a fish the whole time. Then i decided to go catfishing with my pops and caught this one on fucking cutbait.

Wish I could go tomorrow for muskie. I don't feel as rewarded with a capture of any other fish as I do with a big 'Ski.

This wasnt the first time he missed fish due to his lanklet weaknesses.

I've heard of musky eating dead whole baits and live bait but never cut bait before. Probably since it was blind it became a scavenger. My friend was really pissed about that since he had been casting with lures for them all week.

My favorite freshwater fish to catch has to be the Musky. You get to use big lures and tackle and when you do get catch one, it's rewarding due to their elusiveness. They are unpredictable in their fight as well.
