>>1540173In DFW TX, nothing will set fruit July-Aug if in direct sunlight except Okra. Whatever the feed store okra is, it loves the heat, hates anything under 65deg. It's taking off now that we are in high 80's. Lawn clippings keep the soil temp down and moisture in. I put down newspaper under the clippings to drown out any weeds. I have also thinned the okra since this photo but it's still far too dense at around 6" spacing. Last year I had two okra plants that made more than enough for me. Now I have... a lot.
