I have two presidents, I can’t remember the sizes, one is a 35 and the XT is a 30 or 25? The one is slightly larger than most medium reels, and the other is slightly smaller, but the slightly smaller one is perfect with 10lb or 15lb braid on a medium- fast rod. You can cast 1/8oz stuff easily and you can run up to 1/2oz cranks and spinners for big bass. The smaller one is on an Abu Vendetta rod, the larger one is on some Bass Pro MH rod to rip through weeds.
That slightly lighter medium size I found with those white Okumas they sold at Dick’s for like $30, I think that is a 20 or 25, that one with 10lb braid on a Berkley Lightning Rod is an awesome little budget combo and I’ll use that for cichlids and bluegills and have landed some good size sneks on it.
