I'm posting on behalf of the MREA(Mosquito Rights and Education Association).
We are a small organization that has just started to spread information and educate the public on mosquito rights.
In America alone, citizens spend upwards of $14 million slaughtering mosquitoes and using products that disrupt their natural life cycles. Most people don't know that bug spray (Especially that which contains DEET) irritates the membranes on a mosquitoes skin causing great agony. Worst yet, products like Bifenthrin are being used to literally kill them by the millions (eggs included).
We know this is an unpopular opinion, but please don't let public opinion control your conscience. We are still small and need new members. We have regular hikes (bugspray free) and are looking at getting booths at some upcoming outdoor shows.
