>>686291Fairbanks is nothing special. Anchorage isn't exactly exciting either. Whitehorse is only nice because there's absolutely nothing anywhere nearby and fresh food/supplies rock. Skip the city time, go /out/. There are lovely outdoorsing opportunities the whole way.
If nothing else, at least take the Cassiar Highway. It's gorgeous.
