Gun guys get a bad rep for glorifying war and some of that is justified, but most of those dude's are younger and haven't seen the real nasty.
I won't talk shit to anyone but the bros, no fist fights at the bar. I won't look for conflict, but the only effective way to respond to violence is with equal or greater violence.
Bears and cougars; I'll yell until they charge. People; avoidance and deescalation until they move in a threatening way.
