There is my last harvest of (mostly) green chile for 2016.
Top: Just under 7lbs of green
Second: Just after roasting
Third: peeled and most of the seeds removed
Bottom: Chopped up and bagged, ready for the freezer next to some dry beans (Zuni Gold and Anasazi) that I need to winnow.
I could probably get another harvest of green if it doesn't freeze in the next 2-3 weeks, but, now that there is less sunlight and the sun has swung to the south, putting the plants in shade much earlier, the chiles are smaller. Smaller translates into a much bigger PITA to peel and clean. I'm just going to let it go, and if KEK wills it, I'll get enough red to make a full reistra.
I"m guessing that this batch is decently hot. Not only did rubbing my lips after scrubbing my hands cause them to burn, but one chile had a hole eaten it by a snail. The snail was still there. Dead.
