When I was about 10 (mid to late 90s), a friend and I found the tractor unit of an articulated lorry deep in the woods. It had been crashed into a ditch / gully.
What was strange about it was that it looked fairly new and didn't look like it had been there long yet the vegetation surrounding it was very thick and didn't look like it had been disturbed. There was no sign that a large truck had or even could have driven through it.
Weirder still was there were a few dozen stuffed toys scattered around it. They were soggy but hadn't gone green or dirty yet.
Still can't work out what had gone on there.
