one thing i always wanted to try (but never did) was just do a long exposure or bulb mode in the pitch dark while it's snowing and then walk around with my flash in my hand and just shoot the flash like 6 times, each from different areas out of frame and different depths in the woods. it would give such an amazing depth to the photo, plus every time the flash goes off more and more snowflakes get added to the shot
