I'm planning to build a box in the bottom of the ute deck that contains all my gear with a hinged lid so I can leave it in there permanently and simply close the lid and throw all my work tools ontop during the day.
There's just enough room to sleep in it diagonally but I've never done it since the tray is ribbed and very uncomfortable.
So yesterday I lay a bed of timber and put some carpet for a flat soft surface.
Today I plan to buy a half dozen yoga mats and put them in diagonally where I will sleep under the carpet and plan the construction of the box which doubles as benchtops while you're sitting in there.
