I have a pair of these I bought used for 1/2 price. Performance is pretty much unmatched for winter. There are some days I would rather use something like their mid ankle boots for a bit more of a soft sole walking in snow when I don’t really care about getting wet.
I just crossed a creek in these earlier today, can’t even feel the cold from the water, which is a great improvement from other boots that I have used out of season like my scarpas.
I also have a beta LT which I use as a shake dry rain shell on short days out, I like to keep it clean and uncreased, because Arc’teryx really is all about flexing on people so of course banging into the gas station wearing 4000m boots is part of the fun
