Cool pipe. I make mine from branches and carve them green. I use a piece of metal fence sharpened at the end to bore the stems out. I clamp the bent stems down flat and drill them out. i bore the pipe using a spade bit. Then I just toss the pipe into a paper bag until it dries (slows the drying process preventing cracks). I oil the pipe with olive oil.
This pipe is sugar maple.
