>>165115no it isn't
the point was you don't need high tech gear if you have skills, just look in here
>>165058proper clothing, not super gore-tex but sturdy, wind and water resist, would protect you from elements for few hours, then you just get warm near campfire, like we did for 50 thousands years without microfibra and membranes
basic neccesities like blanket, tarp and pot to make your camping easier and traveling possible
sufficient amount of socks (like in no one choice here)
tools to craft spoons, bowls, cutting boards, also helpful with building shelters and firewood
you can make frame saw with sticks and saw blade
canvas tarp while not 100% waterproof does the job when used as a roof and won't condense moisture when use it as a blaket
fix your clothing with rags and sewing kit, hell you can even make gloves out of it
use linseed oil for cooking, oiling your woodorks, use it on rags wrapped around stick and you have 15 mins torch
you can actually make billy can from dog food cans with lid and everything
If you have the skills and pretty basic items and clothing you can achieve more, have more options than person in gore-tex eating snickers
that was the point of it
