>>286859I met a local homeless guy who hangs in our neighborhood. He was at a dinner put on by the local church. He got upset with my sarcastic dry humor and tried to scold me but I largely ignored him. He's in his early forties, has a chaos symbol on his temple and symmetrical upside down crosses under the corner of his eyes. I was warned of him by the local grocery store owner, and my neighbors told me that he used to walk out into the middle of the yard and shit when he stayed in our house.
He filled me in on a little history that I'd already gathered and told me his own version of the incident the grocery store owner told me about. He took Roz and I to visit a local guy who had a Free Shop set up, where you could get several things for free and roll cigarettes but also had things for sale. He was parked under a local bridge; in the 30 minute loading spot, in between two bars.
He was an alright enough guy. The next morning I stopped by to see how he was doing and I wound up hanging out with him; Matthew, and Gerald; the hobo with the 2edgy4u face tattoos for most of the day. The ended up leaving to go run errands and take a shower at the Y, I stayed and watched the store with Matt's dog. I sold a few things and made a few dollars, Matthew paid me with weed and let me keep most of what I sold. He said he'd be back in a few months, maybe.
The next day Roz and I were visiting a guy we'd met who lives in a bus in our neighborhood when we met Gerald on the way. He tagged along and got upset that I didn't want to talk about our house being robbed and then tried to scold me as he did the first day we met. I explained that it wasn't the time and he got more upset, the guy whose bus it was told him to leave. We haven't really talked since. I suspect it was him who tagged the house, it seems like the sort of childish shit he would do. When you're talking to him and you look away at something, he tugs at you arm.
