Plus different colors are seen better in different depths and lights, I though it’s the reds don’t travel through dark water well at all, but a dark blue can be seen much better by the fish, but don’t quote me on that.
For crankbaits and spinners and shit, I seem to do best with golds or natural baby bass/bluegill in clear water, medium clarity to murky and I do well with white and silver (or bottom shit I like dark like Junebug) and then for some reason chartruese seems to work great in that water with brown tannin stains but still some visibility.
>>1174766Chartruese and firetiger stuff has been funny for me, like I never know when it’s going to work. Doesn’t matter if the water is clear or murky but some days when the fish aren’t hitting the regular stuff, they will slam bright baits.
