Currently working in this. Using membrane poly from RSBTR. I added a 3” catenary cut to the bottom edges, but I’m not sure if it’s necessary. It’s more of a fun project than something out of necessity.
I’ll be using d-rings for the beaks and Beastie-D’s for the corners. I’m also adding panel pulls, and an additional tie out along the bottom edge because why not?
I’m using grosgrain as a ridge instead of a flat felled seam. I have a Warbonnet tarp made this was and I’ve been really pleased with it.
Gonna try loop aliens as well (cheap knock off from AliExpress). Tarp flyz are ok but they’re tiny and a bitch to work with when it’s cold.
