It seems like there's two schools of thought about what colors to wear hiking. One is to wear as bold and brightly colored clothes as possible more like the guy on the left. The other is to wear clothes that are more blendy with the environment, more like the guy on the right.
Now I realize there's a safety aspect with wearing really bright colors but I go the other route.
All tactictool silliness aside, I hike to get away from people and National Parks can be somewhat crowded. I think it's polite to be less noticeable, specifically at a distance and so I try to wear colors that blend with nature better.
Has /out/ ever considered this?
