https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4810060/Cops-Woman-month-woods-high-meth.html>Lisa Theris, 25yo>meth user>with two guys who plan on burglarizing a hunting lodge (one of their fathers manages the place)>disappears into the woods for nearly 30 days>it’s literally one mile wide from the road the lodge is on to the road on which she was found (to be fair the wooded area is several miles long in the other direction)>can faintly hear traffic from one road to the next>there are trails and power lines running through the area>she was naked when she was found>covered in mud and bug bites>hair matted down>glasses lost; she is legally blind (stated in article but she’s not wearing glasses in any pics)>really deep tan>lodge manager and police searched the area for several days and found no traces of her>there are no wild berries in Alabama in late July/early AugustThere were three (3) stories of what happened to her, one of which was made up by one of the meth head burglars for some reason:
>police versionShe was high on meth, was hallucinating, and wandered off into the woods where she stripped down and got lost.
>meth head burglar #1 made up versionHis accomplice shot her in the head, wrapped her in a garbage bag, and tossed the body into a creek. It’s unclear why he said this (lol drugs). It led police on a wild goose chase.
>meth head burglar #2 and Lisa’s versionShe wanted nothing to do with the robbery so she fled into the woods. She claims she took her red shirt off so they wouldn’t find her. Plausible. The article doesn’t define “naked,” and could just mean “topless.”
