Like always, /out/ SUPERoutdoorsmen always have some excuse why they need 5lb leather boots for their SPECIAL extreme environment in which shoes would not last 2 seconds. It's definitely not because they are just fatbody day hikers that will roll their ankle stepping over a rock on a multiuse path if they tried normal shoes.
