I've got two half Labrador/half Springer Spaniel crosses, and a purebred Labrador who's training to become a picker upper/beating dog (for use on pheasant hunts).
Oldest is half black lab, he's got cancer and isn't expected to live for much longer. Middle is half golden lab, has a thyroid problem and host of other health problems - we're her second owners, her first were shits that kept her in a cramped house, never socialised her and overfed her - but she's medicated and generally lively. Youngest is a little over a year old, very intelligent but fairly destructive still.
They all love being outdoors, and we live in a fairly rural area so it's easy to walk them. We also have a pretty large front and back garden for them to run around in. They bark very loudly when people come to the door - at one point we had a prospective robber sniffing around our village, he got to our house and our dogs started barking so loudly he turned and ran off. They're brilliant.
