>>681341for a lot of people they are useful honestly. if you're a technician or diy-er or just use the multitool around the house, the light is perfect. for other people, like tradies and /out/doors men & women it's not so great. it depends who you are. frankly, the general homeowner and light tool user is a bigger market. i suppose they aren't marketing to the smaller of the two markets here.
i agree with you though, seeing delicate underpowered electronics on a tool like that would repel me.
