Going to dump a bunch of interesting looking mushrooms I've found over the past week or so. I've got positive ID on some of the more obvious ones, less so on the rest. I'd welcome any attempts at ID, though I didn't take these pictures with the intent to have them ID'd, rather just that they looked cool. Central NC for reference.
Starting with a fairly photogenic Heimioporus betula (minus the blemish or 2 on the top of the cap), which I've read might now be classified as Aureoboletus betula. Such is life in the fast-moving world of fungal taxonomy.
