Maybe somebody can help me here I'm going to be "urban camping" in my car here pretty soon for an extended amount of time. I live in southern alberta and winters coming, any idea how to keep my water and food supply from freezing? I won't be running the car only when I need to move. I plan on using a mr heater buddy and propane stove in the car, I thought about cycling hot water bottles to keep the food warm in the cooler. And I could always cut the water bottles open and melt it from ice, but there must be a better way.
Also, the 1lb coleman propane bottles, how do they work in frigid temperatures? Like -30 at most, will I have to keep them warm in my sleeping bag and jacket?
