>>2152074>The combo of garlic mustard and deer on the other hand virtually destroyed the woods here since I was a child. Deer population exploded in the last few decades and they love things like trilliums and saplings and hate garlic mustard. Now what used to be diverse and healthy undergrowth is mostly solid garlic mustard.Same thing happened where I live except with japanese stiltgrass. Stiltgrass invades forest and chokes out undergrowth. Deer eats whatever undergrowth is left and then stiltgrass takes over completely. It's terrible and no matter how much I pull it out in my yard it still comes back.
