i buy stuff like pic on sale or at outlet often and store away with the gear. so always able throw in a few treats/snacks. but basic shit you should have on hand unless youre a yuppie larping fuck is ghee, quick rice, dehydrated veggies (start gardening and get a dehydrator), bullion, protein (egg, precooked bacon, dehydrated chicken, beans), spice packs. also peanut butter balls with chocolate, oats, whey power, dried fruit, etc. make a bunch, put in freezer. cheap healthy, can pack for a trip quickly without draining the wallet at wally mart and blowing sugar out your ass for four days
