Going back on what I posted before, this is Alpe Curgei. It's open year round and there's everything you'd need to make a fire and cook some food. There was also a fair amount of food inside that some hikers had left behind. Locals take very good care of this place. I met no one, being there quite early, but the stove was warm so I assume someone had stayed for the night before.
