I was going to do some debriding of the tomato plants, but I was only able to get a few tied up a bit before yet another storm rained me out. The corn that was laid over in another storm has stood back up. It is also tasseling out already. It is only like 3.5-4 feet tall right now. The popcorn is doing well, but I think I may run a line across it to keep it from leaning over into the path.
I got a load of sugar sprint peas and will be planting as soon as the soil is at the right dampness/dryness. I've been soaking them and now they are in the rinse stage like what you'd do for making sprouts. They have a delicious odor. I poured 1 pint into a quart jar then soaked them with water over night. I had to pour them into a second quart jar because they soaked up so much water that they quadrupled in volume.
