>>1418779>/out/ bachelor partybest kind. both bachelor parties i've planned were /out/, op pic is one from of them. and 'grats on the wife. it sounds like you're getting her /out/? my wife was /in/ when we met, but i gradually fixed that and now we rock climb and backpack together.
>>1418784if both you and the kid have the temperament it's amazing. but i imagine it would be hell if either of you aren't into it. you have to be the right balance of pushing them and accommodating them. fortunately we started early-going /out/ from 3 months, tent camping at 16 months, and having him hike since he was 2. and i have an /out/ wife and /out/ brothers to go with us, which is a huge help. he earns his keep when we backpack-he has his own little pack that he uses to carry his water bottle, some snacks, and a stuffed animal. range right now is about 2 1/2 miles; i'm hoping to get him up to 4 this summer.
