I made the choice to buy a frost river isle royale (the larger one) and I love it. While I am more of a traditionalist, I don't like horrible discomfort so obviously I was cautious and researched before buying this particular pack.
So far it's worked great. Holds a ton of stuff, has a fair amount of rigidity, tons of attachment points, and all the reinforced brass rivets are bullet-proof. Overall, I'd give the pack a 8/10. It'll clearly last my lifetime, and the only reason I won't give it a 10/10 are price, and obviously with all frameless packs, you sacrifice a small amount of comfort for stuff-power.
I also love the rear axe loop, although I don't carry an axe on long treks, it's a cool addition. It's also got 2 beverage pockets which will fit nalgenes perfectly.
