I would bring Ray Mears, and then just sort of have him make up a list of stuff to bring.

-machete with sharpening file
-cooking pot (or pan)
-lots of strong fishing line
-spool of wire
-a big roll of clear plastic sheets (for freshwater and other waterproofing
-dive mask
--note-- it would be tempting to have a journal with me... not sure it is worth one of the 6 or not, probably depends on how skilled myself and my partner are. A musical instrument would be cool too, but then you could just make something in situ.
Those are the small/reasonable/classic items. You could also instead swap out something there for something that would provide a substantial plop down shelter.
Of course, I would consult people first and refine the list. Also, more or less whatever Ray Mears wants.
