Or Sea Kayaking. The Cornish coast has a vast history, especially when it comes to piracy smuggling, There are hundreds of coves and caves to explore, just check the tide times first.
Walk different sections of the South West Coast path. Volunteer for the National Trust. They always have shit they need help with that will get you outdoors and help you meet like minded people.
