I have an 2005 mitsubishi endeavor.
Damn thing is an excellent vehicle, I am very surprised that it wasnt more popular. It is a very very capable vehicle.
I have the FWD model and it can handle itself in offroad situations very nicely because of the large tires, high clearance and modestly powerful engine. Taking some air out of the tires and it can handle sand without getting stuck as long as you know what you are doing. I would like the AWD model to go more serious offroading but I havent needed AWD just yet because the FWD lets it get away with a lot of things.
The mpgs arent too bad for a six cylinder suv. If im very consciousness I can get up to 24 mpgs. I can get close to 500 miles on one tank thanks to its generous tank capacity. Great for road trips!
The cargo room is incredible. I havent been able to find another vehicle in its class with similar dimensions to have the same amount of cargo space. With 40.7 cubic feet of storage, I can still fit four people very comfortably, plus the roof rack. With all the seats down, I get 76 cubic feet of cargo which has come in handy so many times.
The handling is suberb. It steers very precisely. I like how firm the steering wheel, I feel very in control of the suv at all times. With its rigid suspension, it handles like how a SPORTS utility vehicle should handle. The shiftronic feature is great for when you need extra horsepower fast, going offroading, or when you want to be conscientious about gas consumption.
I always get complements on my vehicle.
10/10 would buy again
