>>2398360My plan is to look for a 15he property with a plain profile and a watersource. I want to plant grapes and sell (fine?) wine both locally and over the internet. Wine takes a while after you start, so the first two years will be focused on selling pigs and animal feed. Now, I know animal feed isn't the most profitable crop, but if I work with an animal nutrician, and I know a doctorate in pig nutrition which already told me he would gladly participate, I belive I can solve three problems with a single move: To feed the pigs, to acquire practice in cultivation and to acquaint myself with the locals.
At the first part, buying/housing/installing/operating the winemaking equipment will be a hassle and I will probably have to import some very expensive stuff and pay people to teach me. No problem, if I can ge tthe pigs/feed strategy profitable, I can shortcut this challenge by using trade and straight up saving.
The oinkers in picrel are from a farm I visited last saturday in one of my expeditions. Kinda scary but they're mostly friendly animals.
